So sorry for your loss Teri and Cindy. Your Mom was a very caring lady. A lot of good memories. Sorry we couldn’t make it to the service. We send our deepest condolences.

  3. I am very sorry to read of your loss. With Mrs. Cockream accomplishments, her love and joys, she was an amazing woman. I won’t pretend to know what you’re going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, “Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” I hope that this verse will also comfort you, and I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved mother, sister, and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org – healingwordsforu@gmail.com

  4. Dear Terri, Cindy, and Pat,

I so wish I could be there today to pay my respects. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. It doesn’t matter how old we are ; we should never be without our mothers.

Debbie and I were just talking last week when we were with some of the Atherton family about how much we wanted to reconnect with you all. I am giving final presentations all day today at Purdue University or would absolutely be there. My email address will be connected to this post. I would love to get together with you all in the future if possible.

    With Love, Dawn
