Fannie Moore, 88, formerly of Paw Paw, passed away July 12, 2012 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She was born March 25, 1924 in Greenville, TN, the daughter of Horace and Eva (Fender) Metcalf. She was united in marriage to Willie Moore.

Fannie is survived by her children, Dee Packer of Fayetteville, NC, Bobby Metcalf of Chenoa, IL, David Moore of Scarboro, IL, Jerry Moore of MS, Daniel Moore of Sandwich, IL, and Geraldine Lundquist of Prophetstown, IL; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willie; and children Jackie Moore and Elbert Alvin Moore.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 16, 2012 at the United Methodist Church of Paw Paw with Rev. Ken Foster officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Wyoming Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fannie may be made to the Moore Family c/o Torman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 357, Paw Paw, IL 61353.

    Grandma was a wonderful woman and will hold a place in many people’s hearts. Grandma, you will be missed by many, but you will live forever more in our memories and hearts.
