Alice Marie Craig, daughter of Joseph and Kathleen Craig, formerly of Shabbona, Illinois, died peacefully in her sleep at age 72 on March 5, 2023 in Sycamore, Illinois. Alice is survived by her brother, Tom, and predeceased by both her parents and her brothers, Ted and Kevin.
Alice enjoyed studying family history, and history topics in general, and frequently would be the only person to remember a distant family member’s name or date of birth. She was cheerful, ingenuous, and liked to read, travel, and watch TV. Alice was a graduate of Shabbona High School.
Private services will be held at St. James Calvary Cemetery in Lee, IL.. Acknowledgements in Alice’s name may be sent to Opportunity House, 357 N California St, Sycamore, IL 60178.
