Susan M. Milton

Susan M. Milton, 78, of Paw Paw, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. She was born December 14, 1946, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Wayne and Audrey (Treest) Lampson.

Sue proudly served in the United States Army as a member of the Signal Corps. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed collecting lighthouses. Sue loved crocheting, especially making blankets for her grandkids. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, her family meant the world to her.

Sue is survived by three sons, Brian (Tara) Milton, Jeff (Katie) Milton, and Danny (Misty) Milton; ten grandchildren, Brittney (Josh) Schlabach, Allee Marshall, Alyssabeth (Damien) Presthus, Marcus Hadley, Rachel Milton, Becky Hadley, Dylan Milton, Tony Milton, Shelby Milton, and Hunter Milton; eight great-grandchildren, Hailee, Addison, and Jayson Schlabach, Marley and Emilia Presthus, Milo Maysonet, Leo Ramos, and Elena Sue Milton; siblings, Penny Johnson, Dennis (Donna) Lampson, and Kevin (Angie) Lampson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sue is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Lampson; mother, Audrey Bennett; brothers, Tommy Bennett, James Lampson, Larry Lampson, Steve Lampson, David Lampson, and Richard Lampson; and the father of her children, Horace Milton.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Torman Funeral Home, 510 Flagg Street, in Paw Paw. Cremation care will be provided after the visitation and private burial will take place at a later date in Wyoming Township Cemetery in Paw Paw.
