Lois J. Buchanan, 93, of Mendota, passed away December 13, 2011 at Heritage Manor. She was born August 7, 1918 in Compton, the daughter of Ferris and Ethel (Knetsch) Avery. She was united in marriage to Clement Buchanan on March 26, 1940 in Paw Paw.
She is survived by two sons, Gene of Paw Paw and Robert (MinCha) of Cherry Valley, IL.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Torman Funeral Home, 510 Flagg St., Paw Paw. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. Rev. Ken Foster officiating. Interment will be held at Restland Cemetery, Mendota.
