Sonja J. Cunniff, 76, of Paw Paw, formerly of Darien, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at her home. She was born December 18, 1938 in Berwyn, IL, the daughter of Jack R. and Laverta (Wormley) Blalock. She was united in marriage to John Cunniff on July 27, 1974 in Wheaton, IL.

Sonja is survived by her husband, John; five children, Tammy (Rolly) Betian, Jim (Lupe Montalvo) Painter, Mary (Dave) Barnish-Siebold, Jason (Leah) Cunniff, and Zak Cunniff; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rick Blalock and Jackie (Peggy) Blalock; three sisters, Jill (John) Jones, Pat Nantz, and Barb (Ray) Blazina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Alice McDaniel.

A memorial visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Torman Funeral Home, 510 Flagg Street, in Paw Paw, IL. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials in Sonja’s memory may be directed to any Alzheimer’s, dementia, or aneurysm research foundation.
