Torman Funeral Home has been serving families in Paw Paw, Illinois, and the surrounding area since 1924, when Harold moved the business to town. Michael Torman is a fourth-generation funeral director at the family-owned and -operated facility, following in the footsteps of great-grandfather Harold Torman, grandfather Robert Torman and father Scott Torman. The Torman family also had a location in nearby Earlville, Illinois, through the mid-1990s.
Michael is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, certified cremationist and licensed pre-need provider. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University and received a degree in mortuary science from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago.
Patty is the owner of Torman Funeral Home. She grew up in the Mendota area and married Scott Torman in 1979. Patty assumed ownership of the funeral home after Scott passed away in 2009. She has three sons and two granddaughters.
